3D Ultrasound Computer Tomography (3D USCT)

An ASIC development in which I was involved. The article is written in German. Here is the translation into English:

“Using ultrasound and supercomputing to detect breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in Germany. According to the German Cancer Aid, about 70,000 new cases are diagnosed every year. In order to improve breast cancer diagnosis, KIT researchers together with partners in the project “Quantitative Ultrasound Stochastic Tomography – QUSTom” want to develop a new imaging method based on ultrasound and supercomputing.”
